Southpaw Furniture crafts solid wood doors and screen doors using only mortise and tenon joints and thick, solid wood panels. Interior/exterior doors can be made in any wood, style and thickness required.

Screen Doors

Whether you live downtown, in the suburbs, or at the lake, there is a style of screen door to enhance your home. Many styles are available and only a few are shown below. Your custom design ideas are welcome. Screen door orders are generally filled during the spring and summer months and require 2-6 weeks lead time.

Screen doors are made from 1 ¼" white pine or western red cedar. Each door has a removable screen panel(s), and will accept a storm panel(s), as well. Doors are ready to paint or stain.

Prices start at $325.00 for pine and $370.00 for red cedar. Hardware not included.

Measuring instructions:

**Because all doors are custom orders, there are no returns, unless made incorrectly from the sales order. Improper finishing or installation will void the warranty.

The door will sit in between the exterior trim/casing, in front of the vertical stop which provides support for the door in a closed position. This depth should be 1 ¼". Measure the width of the doorway at the middle, top and bottom. Measure the height at the left and right sides (measure to the 16th inch.) Use the largest measurement in width and height to place your order. It's best to have your installer measure for the door so there are no surprises later. Please refer to the diagram below.
