Women’s Woodworking Seminars

Southpaw Furniture is pleased to offer instructional classes for women interested in learning basic woodworking.

Over the years, women have expressed a wish for a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere to develop these skills.  Pam Shaw, owner/instructor of Southpaw Furniture has prepared several one-day projects which  teach students how to operate stationary and portable tools safely, while they complete the project to take home. For the more adventurous, a week-long course is available in the summer. Class size is limited to 4 women to ensure an attentive learning experience. Participants must have safety footwear, but all other equipment and materials are provided.
